Red Nightingale is a small company set up early in 2007 to purchase the Pocket Reporter system from Global iQ. The Managing Director of Red Nightingale, Mr Peter Mauger BE(IT)Hons MIEAust, developed Pocket Reporter Fusion for Global iQ while he was Senior Software Engineer there.
Red Nightingale has been handling the support and development for Pocket Reporter since August 2007. We recently became a registered Microsoft Partner.
The future of Red Nightingale is bright with a number of new products being lined up for development based on the Pocket Reporter system. These products will target new industries that require the ability to perform inspections and quotes for properties. Further to this Red Nightingale will be pursuing the exporting of the Pocket Reporter system in the UK and USA after its successes in New Zealand.
As the Chair of the Western Australian Branch of the ITEE College for Engineers Australia, Peter is committed to the development of software using sound engineering principals and practices. He is currently focussing on Microsoft .Net technologies and Apple's iOS, but is capable of quickly adapting to new environments and technologies. Pocket Reporter Lite was written in 6 weeks as Peter learned the ins and outs of Objective-C for iPhone and iPad. Pocket Reporter Pro was developed in just 4 months and represents the most powerful property inspection app on the market.
